This week’s college football preview starts with how last week was another disgusting, no good week. No article but if you saw the plays on twitter you know. Wake Forest looking like they were going to score a million. I think taking a 14 point lead into the 4th quarter? And giving everything right over to UNC to ruin their own undefeated season. Followed by Navy essentially being close and covering all day until the very end of the game. But at least we got the under in Oregon v. Washington. I guess.

Regardless, we truck onto the next week like we always do. This week we will be targeting a couple more B1G games, and a Top 25 SEC matchup. NoteAll projections referenced in this article are based off of Adam McClintock’s rankings. and projections. Early Slate

Michigan @ Penn State (12:00 PM EST)

As usual the day will start off with one of the big games in the early slate being a tough B1G matchup. The Michigan Wolverines fresh off a rebound victory over Indiana, travel to Happy Valley to take on Penn State. McClintock’s projections have this as a Penn State -1 game. That is also where I believe the market opened up at, and got beat down to Michigan being a -1.5 favorite at the time of writing. Although Penn State has kind of been through a long season and banged up with injuries, I am going Penn State money line.

I am going to just trust in the numbers and send it on this one getting plus in Happy Valley. It really is probably just a coinflip and I think the strengths match up well and weaknesses also matchups so it will be interesting but like I said I will trust the numbers. As a bit of a side note I also wouldn’t hate a play on the under and may dabble on that as well.

Afternoon Slate

Minnesota @ Iowa (3:30 PM EST)

For the afternoon slate we go to another B1G matchup as we head to Iowa City for a matchup of the Minnesota Golden Gophers and the Iowa Hawkeyes. And, this is kind of like a service academy under, or Wisconsin v. Iowa. Just don’t overthink anything. I know it is low but I am betting Under 37.5.

Minnesota has not quite had the same passing attack as they did last year with the Morgan-Bateman connection. But they seem to have an entire practice squad of nothing but fully capable running backs after Mo Ibrahim went down week 1 versus Ohio State. And we know how Iowa rolls. We just hit an Under 37 in their game! I am going back to the well, sign me up. If I get burned. Fuck it, I get burned.

Nigh Slate

Texas A&M @ Ole Miss (7:00 PM EST)

For the night slate we head to the SEC for a top 25 matchup as the Ole Miss Runnin’ Rebels take on the Aggies of Texas A&M. McClintock projects this game at a 5.5 point Aggie advantage. That would put some value on the current number of -2.5. On top of that Ole Miss has been going through a conference gauntlet similar to Penn St. mentioned above.

When it comes down to it I think that the Aggie Defense is up for the task of stopping their offense enough to keep them in it. And although the quarterback situation at A&M scares me I love their running and look for them to control the game that way. I am ggoing to bank on them winning by a field goal and wager on A&M -2.5.

Bonus: Late Slate

Nevada @ San Diego State (10:30 PM EST)

Late night degen’ action baby! I am gonna be short and sweet here. Nevada Money line. I bet them to win the Mountain West, and they need his and were not hedging baby! Aztecs have a good defense but Nevada has an offense that can get buckets so I am taking a late night risk on Wolfpack money line and maybe some +3 too. McClintock projections make it a Nevada -1 game too so, icing on the cake.
